On October 16th,2014,the International Workshop on Standards and Applications of PMUs and WAMS took place at Ramada Hotel near North China Electric Power.  A.G. Phadke, Distinguished Professor emeritus in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Virginia Tech and Kennth Martin,Chairman of IEEE C37.118 working group presented the workshop and gave reports on "Applications of PMUs and WAMS in the world" and "Developments of PMU and its Standard in United States" respectively.
